Resumen:

An interferometric Linear Frequency ModulatedContinuous Wave (LFMCW) millimeter-wave radar ispresented, along with the results of an experiment conducted tostudy the feasibility of using it in a future millimeter-waveInterferometric Inverse Synthetic Aperture Radar (InISAR)system. First, a description of the radar is given. Then, the signalprocessing chain is described. The interferometric phase isobtained by unwrapping the prominent target’s phase in eachantenna using a sliding frame processing technique. Simulationswere carried out to illustrate and assess the processing chain andto show the effects of multipath echoes on the heightmeasurement. In the real experiment, the range, speed, andheight of a moving target were tracked over consecutive InverseSynthetic Aperture Radar (ISAR) image frames, verifying theperformance of the whole system.
