An interesting and promising architecture has beenstudied in this paper: the six-port network. In the last years, thisstructure has been used in many applications, and it is nowadaysemerging as the best candidate to implement a Software DefinedRadio. A new six-port autocalibration method based on realtimesub-band division is presented. Simulation results show alarge BER improvement, two orders of magnitude aboveconventional autocalibration method levels.
