This paper describes a prototype of receiverapplicable to Software Defined Radio. This prototype can beused for two RF architectures: zero-IF and low-IF. The receiverhas been characterised and measured for both architectures.The results show that the low-IF architecture usually presentsbetter performance than the zero-IF. For the low-IFarchitecture, the EVM is lower than 5% for input powersbetween -45dBm and -15dBm, and a 64-QAM modulation.
