Nowadays, there is a big concern about security andsurveillance systems due to the terrorist attacks of the lastdecade. Millimeter-wave imagers are able to perform stand-offscreening. Here, it is presented the research on illuminators toenhance the performance of mm-wave imagers by increasingthe contrast in the scene. These illuminators are based onwideband mm-wave radiation and elliptical reflectors.
