Resumen:

This paper presents a systematic method to designbandpass waveguide resonator filters using low temperatureco-fired ceramic (LTCC) technology. The main target is todemonstrate that LTCC highly reduces the size of this waveguidefilters and can obtain good measurement results. Two filters aredesigned, one of them at 20 GHz whose adjacent cavities arecoupled by a narrow slot at the edge of the common broad walland the other at 30 GHz whose adjacent cavities are coupled byan inductive window on the sidewall. Feeding structures, in bothfilters, consist of a microstrip line coupled by a slot at the edgeof the cavity upper wall. It is demonstrated that results agreewith EM simulations.
