Recently, new behavioral model formulations, as Xparameters, have been proposed to predict transistor/circuitsnon-linear behavior. They are an alternative approach to modelnon-linear behavior in CAD tools based directly on measureddata, but they also provide for the possibility of extendinganalytical circuit analysis to the domain of non-linear circuits.In this paper there are proposed and experimentally validatedclosed-form expressions to compute the effect of adding anetwork series connection. These new expressions, based on Xparameters, are very interesting since they provide the keycomponent required for developing analytical circuit designprocedures for feedback amplifiers and oscillators.
