Resumen:

Millimeter-wave radar sensors offer significant advantagesover systems operating at lower frequencies, such astransmitting large bandwidths while keeping compactness andcost-effectiveness. The implementation of these systems usuallyrequires to resort to integration of heterogeneous technologies, which is a key issue addressed in this paper. A 100-GHzhigh-resolution FMCW(Frequency-modulated continuous-wave)radar is presented, which comprises both commercial-off-theshelf(COTS) and designed-specific microstrip circuits involvingdifferent technologies in its development: digital signal generation, microstrip designed circuits, waveguide components, etc.An experimental setup has been used to assess its performance.
