Wind farm installations relatively near to radar systems cause clutter returns which can affect the normal operation of these radars. In this paper a parametric study of the dependence of the rain characteristics in wind turbine clutter (WTC) mitigation for C-band weather radars is presented. For this aim, several realistic simulations of weather conditions have
been performed.
