Resumen:

The designed frequency triplers are fabricated and assembled by Teratech Components Ltd. (UK).
Characterization for different operation conditions including tests at different temperatures validates the described
design methodology. For the W-band frequency tripler, the measured room-temperature conversion efficiency is
over 5% between 75 GHz and 102 GHz and over 8% across the 90-99 GHz band for an input power of 100 mW. For
the higher frequency tripler, preliminary measurements across the 258-279 GHz band show between 4% and 5% of
room-temperature conversion efficiency for an input power of 100 mW. Additional measurement results will be
presented at the conference with emphasis on those allowing the evaluation of thermal effects on the circuit
performance.
