Much effort has been made in obtaining equivalent circuits that can be used to simulate lossy and dispersive transmission lines in SPICE. A technique based on the 'characteristic' method that used PSPICE is presented. The technique allows the analysis of distributed linear and nonlinear networks, and is accurate and easy to use.
