An Inverse Synthetic Aperture Radar (ISAR) obtains images of radar targets by means of an advanced signal processing. The image quality is usually measured by two parameters: resolution and sidelobe level. Sidelobe level is commonly reduced by lineal apodization (or windowing), this signal processing technique is simple but its mayor drawback is resolution loss.
