Resumen:

In this article, the experimental results are presented of applying a new non coherent and non statistic technique that allows us to endow the coastal surveillance high resolution radars (HRR) with a significant capacity for target classification and identification; making possible the estimation of their size, and also obtaining information about their structure by analyzing the intensity and position of their hot spots. The HRR used to obtain the experimental results is the ARIES, a surface marine radar able to transmit signals of almost 500 MHz of instantaneous bandwidth.
