Resumen:

A Volterra-series analysis of an MMIC mixer based on a Gilbert Cell with HEMT technology is reported. The developed method is based on previously published reports and closed form expressions are presented. An MMIC Gilbert Cell was implemented with HEMTs and the analysis was validated comparing the theoretical results with measured data. The chip was widely characterised at microwave frequencies up to 10 GHz demonstrating a good performance with a low LO level and power consumption.
